TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul sector in the Netherlands is an important sector for Dutch economic growth and this sector has a need for further professionalisation and improvement. Stichting World Class Maintenance aims to be the leading connecting and stimulating party for innovation in maintenance and asset management. In this context, WCM develops and guides Open Innovation projects for its members, with the aim of realising maintenance and assets of world-class quality, with which a contribution can be made to social developments such as the energy transition. WCM’s projects are characterised by technical innovation and/or social innovation and/or attention to the development of human capital. Most of WCM’s projects take the form of so-called ‘fieldlab projects’; practice-oriented projects in which, within an open innovation setting, participants learn from one another. Often with participants from the business community, schools and knowledge institutions. The commitment of the Work Package Leader WP5 averages 9 hours per week.
