Part I – Modernisation of Sadowa Street in Sulejów with elements of blue-green infrastructure The subject of the contract is a comprehensive redevelopment of Sadowa Street under the “design and build” system together with accompanying infrastructure and elements of blue-green infrastructure, including construction of the carriageway, a footpath on the western side, driveways to properties, and a parking bay together with a retaining wall securing nearby sports facilities. All communication surfaces will be made using permeable porous paving blocks. A key element of the investment is regulating stormwater management by constructing a fragment of a stormwater channel and redeveloping the existing ditch in a sedimentation-biofiltration layout, with the aim of slowing down and pre-treating stormwater. Part of the infrastructure within the ditch area, including plantings of hydrofit vegetation, deflectors, and gabion walls, will be carried out by an external entity as part of the LIFE Pilica project, which will require the general contractor to closely cooperate and maintain appropriate spatial reserves.
