TENDER DESCRIPTION

Procurement of an isothermal titration calorimeter (ITC) including installation and system handover on site. Within the framework of research, the device is used for the characterization of protein-ligand and protein-protein interactions in enzyme and protein development. Enzymes, receptors, and binding proteins are to be investigated regarding their affinity and binding specificity towards substrates, cofactors, photocatalysts, regulatory molecules, or other proteins. These interactions must be quantitatively recorded within the scope of large variant libraries and combinatorial protein-ligand approaches. Automation of the device is mandatory for this, as the planned measurement series require a high sample throughput and manual isothermal titration calorimetry would not be practical for this number of samples. Calorimetric measurement is also necessary because many of the systems under study can only be analyzed to a limited extent by other methods, such as optical or chromatographic titrations.
