TENDER DESCRIPTION

Procurement of an isothermal titration calorimeter (ITC) including installation and system handover on site. Within the framework of research, the device serves to characterize protein-ligand and protein-protein interactions in enzyme and protein development. Enzymes, receptors, and binding proteins are to be examined regarding their affinity and binding specificity towards substrates, cofactors, photocatalysts, regulatory molecules, or other proteins. These interactions must be quantitatively recorded in the context of large variant libraries and combinatorial protein-ligand approaches. The automation of the device is mandatory for this purpose, as the planned series of measurements require a high sample throughput, and manual isothermal titration calorimetry would not be practicable for this number of samples. The calorimetric measurement is also required because many of the systems studied can only be analyzed to a limited extent with other methods, such as optical or chromatographic titrations.
