    TENDER DESCRIPTION

Procurement of an Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (ITC) including installation and on-site system handover. Within the scope of research, the device is used for the characterization of protein-ligand and protein-protein interactions in enzyme and protein development. Enzymes, receptors, and binding proteins are to be examined with regard to their affinity and binding specificity towards substrates, cofactors, photocatalysts, regulatory molecules, or other proteins. These interactions must be quantitatively captured within the framework of large variant libraries and combinatorial protein-ligand approaches. Automation of the device is mandatory because the planned measurement series require a high sample throughput, and manual isothermal titration calorimetry would not be practical for this number of samples. Calorimetric measurement is also necessary because many of the systems studied can only be analyzed to a limited extent using other methods, such as optical or chromatographic titrations. The device must be technically capable and qualified to quantitatively and thermodynamically characterize biomolecular interactions in solution. From the measured heat changes, key binding…
