TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Standard IT lot includes the provision and operation of central IT infrastructure and platform services for the contracting authority. The services are provided as integrated operating services and form the technological basis for operating a wide range of business IT applications and the associated infrastructure components. In particular, the lot includes services relating to data centre infrastructure, the network and communications infrastructure, application platforms and technical application operations. The systems, platforms and applications within the Scope will be provided to tenderers during the bidding phase in the form of a detailed service catalogue, as well as supplementary inventory and architecture documents. For the platforms and applications within the Scope, different service levels are provided. These may in particular include: housing, hosting, platform operation, technical application operations, provision of operating platforms, monitoring, backup and recovery services, patch and release management, operating support, technical operations management.
