The Finnish Tax Administration develops and maintains digital services primarily as cloud-based and cloud-native solutions. In the development work, application, integration, data and platform services provided by the Microsoft Azure cloud platform are used, as well as modern software development, information security and operations practices. The solutions vary in scope and criticality, ranging from business-critical core applications to more limited services targeted at a specific business need. The subject matter of the procurement in this sub-area is expert services for cloud-based application development implemented in the Microsoft Azure environment. The sub-area includes in particular architecture design for cloud solutions and cloud applications, application and integration development, DevOps, development and maintenance of cloud platforms, and technical information security for cloud environments and applications.
