Summary The City of Raisio and CompassForge Ventures Oy have entered into a cooperation agreement for the development of the area. CompassForge Ventures Oy is planning a data center in the Itä-Somersoja area, which requires detailed zoning. A mutual planning reservation agreement has been established for the project, on the basis of which joint planning development has begun. Simultaneously, the Itä-Somersoja zoning area is being planned on a broader scale. This request for tenders focuses on the area needed for the data center project. Description of the matter and request for tenders The project is being advanced in parallel with the preparation of Fingrid's 400 kV power line. The power line is intended to be completed during the year 2031. The data center could, with reservations, start operating earlier, so the zoning project must proceed as quickly as possible. Fingrid is currently progressing with the power line preparation in the environmental impact assessment (EIA) procedure, and its project is on schedule. For the data center project, a 40-hectare land area has been allocated by a planning reservation agreement as well as an option for an expansion area (25 ha). The…
