TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Finnish Border Guard requests applications for participation in a procurement procedure whose subject is the maintenance of the entire system of the eastern border obstacle fence of the Border Guard Headquarters in Southeast Finland and North Karelia (hereinafter the "IE fence"), including, among other things: - Snow-clearing and sanding, of maintained road sections totalling approx. 284 km - Inspection, cleaning, repairs and maintenance of road culverts - Shaping of the road wearing courses and scarifying of the road wearing courses - Installation of snow-clearing markers in autumn and removal in spring - Installation and maintenance of traffic signs and any necessary signposting - Excavation, clearing/ditching and restoration of ditches - Clearing of undergrowth on the west side of the road - Removal and control of grass/brush (heini) - Clearing fallen trees from the fence and from openings - Maintenance painting of the fence and gates - Repair of other fence damage; vandalism, accidents, repair of storm damage, repairs for damage caused by animals, etc. - Gates: inspections, maintenance services and repairs - Inspection, repairs, annual maintenance, refuelling of stand-by…
