TENDER DESCRIPTION

A national spatial plan for Edvard Rusjan Maribor Airport (hereinafter: DPI LJMB) is under preparation. The proponent and investor of the DPI is the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy. With the adoption of the DPI, comprehensive planning of LJMB will be ensured and suitable space reserved for the further expansion and upgrading of the airport and other infrastructure. With DPI LJMB, areas will be defined for the placement of new airport and associated infrastructure, which includes arranging manoeuvring areas as well as placing other structures and equipment. For DPI LJMB, guidelines from spatial planning authorities have already been obtained, an decision on a comprehensive assessment of environmental impacts has been issued, and a Decision on the preparation of the DPI has been adopted.
