TENDER DESCRIPTION
EXISTING CONDITIONThe subject work relates to the construction of a waterfront pedestrian path on the western half of the cove area of the town of Gornja Vala. The scope is defined by a natural land area with pine trees—the ground—which lies between the existing arranged waterfront promenades and the gravel beach. The eastern beginning of the scope consists of stairs from the public road surface to the natural soil surface. Most of the scope’s boundary between the natural area and the roadway consists of a retaining reinforced-concrete wall that holds the backfilled terraces with the promenade, café bars and a parking area. In places, the linear segment is interrupted by sunken covered drainage channels for stormwater and down ramps from the road. After that part of the scope there is a more natural beach area where the boundary to the road is formed by stone retaining slopes and steep rock faces, with occasional carved stone steps and paths for pedestrian access. The western beginning/end of the scope is made up of the existing stone steps carved into the rock face between the stone rock face, the road and the beach.
