TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of procurement is the development of a new electronic system of the Croatian Science Foundation for the submission of project proposals, evaluation and monitoring of funded projects. The Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ), as the Contracting Authority, is the central national organisation for financing scientific, higher-education and technology programmes and projects in Croatia. Every year, the HRZZ publishes a series of calls for support for scientific research, thereby ensuring stable funding for research groups dealing with internationally and/or nationally significant scientific issues which, through basic, applied or developmental research, generate new and improve existing knowledge. In order to ensure the selection and funding of the best projects, the HRZZ has developed a procedure for evaluating project proposals based on internationally accepted research evaluation practice (peer review), in which scientists from Croatia and abroad participate.
