TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Ice Rink Foundation (Jääkenttäsäätiö sr) is responsible for the maintenance and management of the Helsinki Ice Hall (Helsingin Jäähalli), address Nordenskiöldinkatu 11–13, 00250 Helsinki. In addition, the foundation owns the entire share capital of Helsinki Sports Facilities Ltd (Helsingin Liikuntahallit Oy) together with the City of Helsinki. Helsinki Sports Facilities Ltd maintains the following ice rinks in Helsinki: Herttoniemi ice rink, Kivikko ice rink, Paloheinä ice rink, Salmisaari ice hall, Vuosaari ice rink, and Kaarela ice rink. During the term of the framework agreement, the sites to be maintained may be expanded by adding the Malmi ice rink, if operations in the Malmi ice rink are resumed. For the Malmi ice rink, the same terms and prices as for the other ice rinks covered by this procurement are applied in full. The works covered by the procurement include electrical works carried out as separate orders for the ice rink buildings. The electrical works include, among other things, conventional inspection, maintenance, repair and modification works.
