TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the lead design and architectural design tasks for the Suviranta museum project of the City of Järvenpää during the project planning phase. Suviranta is located in Järvenpää at Suvirannankatu 5, 04400 Järvenpää. Suviranta is an artist’s home of cultural-historical significance belonging to Eero and Saimi Järnefelt, and part of the cultural environment associated with the Tuusula Lake artist community. The site, together with its buildings, interiors and yard areas, forms a valuable whole. The City of Järvenpää’s objective is to develop Suviranta as a museum site while preserving the cultural-historical and protection-related values of the building and its environment. The objective of the project planning phase is to define the prerequisites for carrying out the museum project, the necessary measures and their scope, as well as the starting points for further planning. During the project planning phase, among other things, the functional needs of museum operations, repair and modification needs for the buildings and yard areas, the infrastructure required for museum operations, the possibilities for implementing a permanent ticket sales…
