The subject of the procurement is the main design and architectural design tasks for the Suviranta museum project in the project design phase for the City of Järvenpää. Suviranta is located in Järvenpää at Suvirannankatu 5, 04400 Järvenpää. Suviranta is Eero and Saimi Järnefelt’s culturally and historically significant artists’ home and part of the cultural environment associated with the Tuusulanjärvi artists’ community. The site, together with its buildings, interiors and yard areas, forms a valuable entity. The City of Järvenpää’s objective is to develop Suviranta as a museum site while preserving the building’s and the environment’s cultural-historical and protective values. The objective of the project design is to define the prerequisites for carrying out the museum project, the required measures and their scope, as well as the starting points for further design.
