TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the procurement is the maintenance and upkeep services for security systems at sites managed by Helsinki Region Environmental Services joint municipal authority (HSY). In addition, the procurement includes the development of HSY’s camera surveillance system (Milestone XProtect Corporate) and the implementation of the associated server and user interface components so that the system supports multiple sites, centralized management, and site-specific operational reliability. The service is provided for HSY’s Waste Management unit’s two units: Regional and Processing Services. A more detailed description of the maintenance and upkeep service and the implementation of the camera surveillance system’s federation model and the web/mobile service is set out in the annexes Procurement Description (Appendix 6) and Service Description (Appendix 5). One service provider will be selected as the contracting party. The estimated start date of the contract is 1.12.2026 and it shall be valid until further notice.
