TENDER DESCRIPTION
The contract concerns the removal of sewage sludge digestate from the storage tank of a bioprocessing plant owned by the company operating in Metsäsairila Oy’s premises (Kiertotaloudenkatu 18, 50800 Mikkeli). To collect the digestate, a vacuum tanker is required that, according to its emission classification, meets the Euro VI criteria. The digestate is an organic soil-improving material that meets the requirements set by the Finnish Food Authority (Ruokavirasto) for use as fertiliser. The digestate has not been separated, and its dry matter content is approximately 11.5%. Digestate production is continuous, producing approximately 3,800–5,500 tonnes per year.
