TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the public tender is the award of a concession for the performance of a public economic service of an animal shelter for abandoned animals in the municipality of Lukovica. The activity that is the subject of the public service comprises: • receiving reports of abandoned animals, • ensuring the necessary veterinary assistance for abandoned animals, • ensuring the capture, transport, placement and care of abandoned animals in the shelter, • ensuring the search for custodians/owners of these animals, or the sale or transfer of the animals to new owners, • marking and registering abandoned animals in accordance with applicable regulations, • ensuring up-to-date maintenance of the dog register, which is submitted to the local community once a year, • other tasks defined by the Animal Protection Act and by-laws that regulate animal protection in more detail.
