TENDER DESCRIPTION

The State of Hesse plans for the Justizvollzugsanstalt Dieburg to renew the fire alarm system and to eliminate existing fire protection deficiencies in accordance with a newly prepared fire protection concept. The premises of the JVA are located in the middle of the city centre in a residential area and originated from an old monastery complex dating from the 18th century. In 1830, it was converted into a remand prison, expanded over the years into a prisoners’ camp and, in the 1960s, was developed into the current Justizvollzugsanstalt. The course of the old monastery wall forms the boundary of the property and the perimeter wall of the JVA.
