TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the delivery, installed, of two unique playground structures (the playground structures offered have not been delivered elsewhere) to the City of Lappeenranta. The procured playground structures will be brought to the port area in Lappeenranta. The theme of the first playground structure is “Horse” and the theme of the second playground structure is “Castle”. The equipment must fit, including all structural components and fall protection platforms, into the space reservation areas specified in the tender request. The tender request seeks two unique playground structures that fit the environment and take into account different age groups. The playground structures must also be visually compatible with each other. The competition procedure will be carried out as an inverse tender, i.e. a French tender. In an inverse tender, the maximum price for the procurement has been defined in advance, meaning that there is no competition on prices. This is also where the term “fixed-price tender” comes from.
