TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the delivery, installed, of two unique playground items (playground items offered have not been delivered elsewhere) to the City of Lappeenranta. The playground items to be procured will be located in the port area of Lappeenranta. The theme of the first playground item is “Horse” and the theme of the second playground item is “Castle”. The equipment must fit, together with all its structural components and drop-down/impact surfacing platforms, into the space reservation areas presented in the request for tenders. With the request for tenders, two unique playground items are sought that suit the environment and take into account different age groups. The playground items must also be compatible with each other in appearance. The competition will be carried out as an inverse procurement, i.e. as a French-style contract. In an inverse procurement, the maximum price for the procurement has been defined in advance, meaning that the prices do not compete. This is also why the term fixed-price competition is used.
