TENDER DESCRIPTION

This procurement concerns liming of lakes and watercourses, operation and supervision of lime dosing units, including delivery and handling of lime, water sampling, reporting, and other follow-up in accordance with the municipality’s liming plan and the applicable guidelines for liming operations.  ScopeDelivery and spreading are estimated to comprise a total of approximately 940 tonnes of lime products per year, distributed as follows: approximately 20 tonnes of limestone flour, fraction 0–2 mm, for lake liming by boat, and approximately 940 tonnes of P-labelled limestone flour, fraction 0–0.2 mm, for liming of watercourses via four lime dosing units. The quantities stated in this procurement shall be regarded as estimated quantities and do not constitute any guarantee of a particular annual call-off volume. The need for liming may vary between different years. The actual scope of the liming measures depends, among other things, on the municipality’s allocation of external funds and decisions on which liming measures are to be carried out during each year.
