TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this procurement is an integrated construction service consisting of surveying for unexploded ordnance, clearance of unexploded ordnance, areal volume clearance for adapting the harbour seabed in the area of the Süddamm on the island of Helgoland. The services are to be carried out in a technical and organisational manner such that survey, removal with separation, rehandling, control sounding, documentation and release interlock in an uninterrupted work process. The theoretical initial level of the harbour seabed to be processed is NHN -8.53 m. According to the available fan-sonar (sector) chart data, the processing areas are approximately 24,160 m2 for the area with final elevation NHN -9.30 m (berth) and approximately 4,400 m2 for the area with final elevation NHN -9.00 m (manoeuvring area). In principle, the soil and rock material that has been cleared and technically released for use as ordnance-free material is to remain in the water and be rehandled within the intended areas in the foreport.
