TENDER DESCRIPTION

The wellbeing services county of Kanta-Häme will procure mobility support services under the Social Welfare Act and the Disability Services Act, non-urgent patient transport services, and urgent freight transport services. The wellbeing services county has a statutory obligation to arrange mobility support services in accordance with both the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014) and the Disability Services Act (675/2023) for the residents of its area. In addition, the wellbeing services county’s duty to arrange services includes non-urgent patient transport services between the wellbeing services county’s own healthcare units. Transport services under the Social Welfare Act may be implemented as group transports for day activities or as individual taxi trips for errands, recreation, or other needs forming part of everyday life. One way of implementing mobility support under the Disability Services Act is a transport service, which is provided as taxi rides.
