TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Kanta-Häme Wellbeing Services County will tender services for mobility support in accordance with the Social Welfare Act and the Disability Services Act, non-urgent patient transport services, and urgent goods transport services. The wellbeing services county has a statutory obligation to arrange mobility support services for residents of the county in accordance with the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014) and the Disability Services Act (675/2023). In addition, the wellbeing services county’s responsibility for arranging services includes non-urgent patient transport services between the wellbeing services county’s own healthcare units. Transport services under the Social Welfare Act may be implemented as group transport to day activities or as individual taxi trips for errands, recreation, or other needs that form part of everyday life. One way of implementing mobility support under the Disability Services Act is a transport service that is carried out using taxis.
