TENDER DESCRIPTION

In accordance with an assignment from the Helsinki City Transport Department (“HKL” or “Client”), the company Helsinki Region Transport Ltd (“KLOY” or “Client’s representative”) organises tender procedures for the technical basic refurbishment of seven separate Kantametro shaft structures, each of which is published as a separate tender procedure. This tendered procurement package is Kantametro Shafts, Package 4, tender identification code 49H25. Package 4 includes the following shafts: - Antinkatu Shaft (KP2) - Southern Kaisaniemi Shaft (HY1) - Platform secondary escape staircase (HY2) - Northern Kaisaniemi Shaft (HY3) The scope includes comprehensive technical basic refurbishment of Kantametro maintenance shafts (4 pcs), focusing both on structural and technical improvements. The purpose is to address various issues, such as repairing deteriorated concrete, improving ventilation, lighting and fire safety systems, and resolving water-related problems such as leaks and the formation of ice.
