TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement includes a steel arch bridge with its foundation elements installed in place at the new construction site on Tilkunlammentie in Jyväskylä. The technical requirements for the steel arch bridge are presented in appendices 2–4 to the plans. The contracting authority is responsible for earthworks and guardrails in accordance with the arch bridge plans, and acts as the main contractor for the construction project. Appendices to the plans: APPENDIX 2 General layout drawing A-1 APPENDIX 3 Bridge construction design description APPENDIX 4 Specified requirements for the bridge Schedule: - The client will complete subgrade work and the necessary access routes for installation by the end of week 47. - The concrete foundation elements must be installed in week 48. - The client then installs the plan-specified streambed/channel structures between the foundation elements. - Installation of the steel arch bridge thereafter in week 50. - Any earlier delivery is agreed separately.
