TENDER DESCRIPTION

The district of Karlsruhe is planning, as part of the redevelopment of the district office area, among other things, the construction of a new office building to replace the previous buildings at the Beiertheimer Allee 2 location in Karlsruhe. In future, several departments will be consolidated at this site and a forward-looking new development for the district of Karlsruhe for approximately 1,000 employees is to be created. Intended uses of the new building include public service areas of the Karlsruhe district office, public conference areas, office spaces, a company restaurant, seminar and training areas for external tenants, a public underground car park, social rooms, ancillary rooms, a daycare center, and a vocational school in separate ownership. The building has an L-shaped floor plan with its greatest extension in the east-west direction (underground) of approximately 147 m and a length in the north-south direction of approximately 87 m.
