TENDER DESCRIPTION

Vantaan Energia has approx. 5,100 district heating energy meters in its district heating network, of which remote reading has been implemented using 2G/3G modes for approximately 2,000 devices. As a result of the upcoming 2G shutdown, Vantaan Energia will replace these 2,000 devices by the end of 2029. Of the district heating energy meters included in the tender, most are in size class DN20–DN40 and are mainly distributed across the DN20–DN100 size class. Individual units are available up to DN150. The aim of this procurement is to procure new district heating energy meters for Vantaan Energia, with requirements, the functionality of remote reading, and access to measurement data guaranteed well into the 2030s. The district heating energy meters and system / service requirements that are subject to the tender are provided in the request for tenders.
