TENDER DESCRIPTION

This part includes the design of outdoor lighting for the City of Helsinki’s public areas. This part may also include pre-dicting (ducting/lining in advance) of the communications network, and small electrical engineering design assignments insofar as they are essentially connected to the outdoor lighting network. The design assignments may relate not only to public outdoor lighting but also to tasks related to the lighting of sports fields in sports areas or to tasks related to the outdoor lighting of properties owned by the city. In Helsinki, in addition to access routes, parks and squares, bridges and statues are also lit. The City of Helsinki’s outdoor lighting network includes approximately 1,750 lighting control units (UV units) and approximately 100,000 light points, and in the future a larger number of these than currently will be controlled individually by the luminaires.
