TENDER DESCRIPTION

Savon Voima Verkko’s (hereinafter referred to as SVV, the contracting authority) objective is to procure a modern, efficient and scalable operational support system (DMS) that supports both the current and future needs of network management, customer service and electricity grid automation. The planned service life of the system to be procured is at least 10 years. The DMS system supports the use, monitoring, optimisation and fault management of the electricity grid. The key functions of the system are: • Provide real-time visibility into the state of the network • Support the operational decision-making of the operating duty officer • Enable efficient management and troubleshooting of fault clear-outs • Enable reporting on key indicators for electricity network operations • Integrate into the rest of the network company’s system entity. Key functional features of the system: The system receives almost real-time AMR meter data, performs power distribution billing calculations and raises alarms for deviations.
