TENDER DESCRIPTION

BACKGROUND AND SUBJECT MATTER The subject matter of this dynamic purchasing system (hereinafter also “DPS”) is the reed harvesting services needed by the Municipality of Kemiönsaari (hereinafter also “contracting authority”) in the years 2026–2029, including mowing, harvesting, collection, transportation, interim storage and processing. The contracting authority establishes the DPS so that it can competitively procure services related to mowing, harvesting and utilization of reed flexibly across different sites, at different times and to the extent required at any given time. The services procured through the DPS may include both summer mowing and winter mowing, as well as collection, transportation, interim storage and further processing of the mown reed material. The more specific work areas, time of the work, scope of mowing, method of implementation, handling of the harvested material, transport destination(s), and other site-specific requirements are defined in the internal competitions of the DPS, i.e. in mini-competitions.
