TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Municipality of Kemiönsaari (hereinafter also “the contracting authority” or “the municipality”) tenders construction consultancy services for a new school centre project for the project’s preparation, design, implementation and warranty phases. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The new school centre is a significant strategic facilities project for the Municipality of Kemiönsaari and the largest single investment in the municipality’s history. The objective of the project is to implement a modern, healthy, safe, functional school centre that supports the principles of sustainable development, meets the future needs of the municipality’s education sector, and strengthens Kemiönsaari’s vitality and attractiveness. The new school centre will replace the current Kemiö school centre located at Koulutie 4. The existing school centre has reached the end of its service life and, based on preliminary studies, refurbishing it was not considered a financially appropriate alternative. With a new-build project, the appropriate, healthy and long-term maintainable premises for educational activities are secured.
