TENDER DESCRIPTION

The client, the Zweckverband Kehrichtverwertung Zürcher Oberland (KEZO), was founded in 1961 and comprises 36 political municipalities in the Zürcher Oberland and on Lake Zurich. It operates, in Hinwil, a waste incineration plant (KVA) for the thermal treatment of municipal waste from around 365'000 households as well as from industry and commerce. Due to the planned construction of a new weighbridge installation, both the roads and traffic routing and the utility services must be adapted accordingly on the KEZO site. The construction services covered by this call for tenders include, among others: • Dismantling of pavements, walls and kerb edging • Trench excavation for utility services, construction and adaptations of utility service systems • Creation and adaptation of drainage systems for the new traffic areas • Earthworks and excavation for the installation of the weighbridges • Pavement works for new and to-be-adapted traffic areas The work will take place on the KEZO works site.
