    TENDER DESCRIPTION

    Methods of Artificial Intelligence (AI) demonstrate impressive performance in many application areas and are increasingly being used in fields that influence everyday life. The field of cybersecurity has also not remained untouched by AI. New AI tools are published almost daily in this context, and above all Large AI language models (LLMs) are already being used today for various application purposes. At the same time, the threat situation is also changing significantly, as benignly intended models are misused for attack purposes (dual use). As a result, it must sometimes be assumed that vulnerabilities will be discovered and exploited even faster in the future as AI capabilities increase. Against this background, the defense side must also become active, which is why this project will investigate how AI can be used in the SSDLC in a beneficial way and what effects the ongoing developments will have on software security.
