TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement services of the corporate administration of the City of Turku requests tenders from the City of Turku and other contracting authorities mentioned in the tender request for literature to be procured for the period 1.1.2027 (target) - 31.12.2028, after which the contract can be extended for two years in accordance with the original terms and conditions by the contracting authority’s decision. This is a framework arrangement in which up to 5 suppliers are selected. The estimated value of the procurement is approximately EUR 2,000,000 per year, without commitment. The contracting authority does not commit to any specific quantity or value of procurement. MAKING PROCUREMENT The contracting parties have at their disposal an electronic service, the so-called procurement portal, through which they become acquainted with the literature available for selection, make the selections, and order the materials. The portal compares the prices of each individual procurement and directs the order to the supplier that offers it at the most advantageous price at the time of ordering.
