TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the overall project is the construction of three digestion tanks at the Köhlbrandhöft wastewater treatment plant in Hamburg. Two main digestion tanks are planned with usable volumes of approx. 8,000 m³ each, and one post-digestion tank with a usable volume of approx. 4,000 m³. In addition, in particular a machine hall, a stairwell tower with lift and cable trough shaft, connecting and interface structures, pipe channels and the required outdoor facilities will be constructed. The overall project is to be implemented using the Integrated Project Delivery (IPA) model on the basis of a multi-party contract. The planning and execution partners that are essential for project success will be involved at an early stage in an integrated project organization. Key elements of project delivery are, in particular, joint validation and planning, cooperation based on the principle of “Best for Project”, a joint opportunities and risk management, and the use of collaborative methods, in particular Lean and BIM.
