Klimaticky odolná živá laboratoř Podluží

TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this public contract is the construction of the Climate-resilient living laboratory Podluží, which will connect 13 municipalities in the region into a single smart infrastructure system. The laboratory will create an open and modular environment for testing and validating innovative technologies in the fields of climate mitigation and adaptation, i.e. energy, water management, waste management, mobility, public lighting, greenery, or digital services. The key element will be the central EMOS data platform, which will enable data integration, predictive infrastructure management, and simulation of crisis scenarios across the entire region. The project will become a model example for other Czech and European regions. After implementation, an integrated innovation ecosystem will be created in which all municipalities will be connected via the EMOS platform. The region will be transformed into a living laboratory capable of testing and evaluating technologies at different scales—from a small village to a larger market town—and providing high-quality data as well as a unique environment for research and practice.
