TENDER DESCRIPTION
Due to weather and usage effects, the façades and façade components show numerous partial damages. These include exposed and corroded reinforcement, concrete spalling and cracks. As a result of the effects of CO₂, the depths of carbonation have developed up to the level of the reinforcement and lead to corrosion. The façades are made of lightweight concrete. The escape balconies were executed as precast elements made of normal concrete, with the escape stairwell building structure in cast-in-place construction. All façade surfaces and components receive suitable surface protection systems, while preserving the existing exposed-concrete structures. To determine the system, sample areas are prepared in advance. The escape-balcony system will be largely demolished and rebuilt. Excluded are the balcony areas between the service shafts, which remain in the existing structure. There, the railings are refurbished and newly coated. The stair towers remain in place.
