TENDER DESCRIPTION
The city of Herzogenaurach is, pursuant to § 88 para. 3 of the Jurisdiction Ordinance (ZustV) dated 16 June 2015, responsible for the prosecution and sanctioning of administrative offenses according to § 24 of the Road Traffic Act (StVG) in the same way as the Bavarian State Police departments. The city carries out speed monitoring within the delegated scope of authority in accordance with the regulations applicable to police speed monitoring. The extent of monitoring of moving traffic is determined by the agreement on monitoring the permitted speed of vehicles with the competent Police Headquarters of Middle Franconia. For this purpose, the leasing of employees according to the AÜG (German Temporary Employment Act) and the provision of technology for carrying out the monitoring of moving traffic, including the conduct of internal service for the purpose of prevention/avoidance of hazards in road traffic, are tendered.
