TENDER DESCRIPTION
The city of Herzogenaurach is, based on § 88 para. 3 of the Jurisdiction Ordinance (ZustV) dated June 16, 2015, responsible for the prosecution and sanctioning of regulatory offenses according to § 24 of the Road Traffic Act (StVG) in the same manner as the offices of the Bavarian State Police. The city carries out speed monitoring within the delegated scope of authority in accordance with the regulations applicable to police speed monitoring. The extent of monitoring of moving traffic is determined by the agreement on the monitoring of the permitted speed of vehicles with the competent Middle Franconia Police Headquarters. For this purpose, the provision of employees according to the German Temporary Employment Act (AÜG) and the provision of technology for conducting the monitoring of moving traffic, including the execution of internal services for the purpose of prevention/avoidance of dangers in road traffic, is being tendered.
