TENDER DESCRIPTION

Description of the service: At Querkamp, south of the Brüder-Grimm-Schule school, a district centre for young people, children and their families is to be built. It will house a mix of uses consisting of community, group and multi-purpose rooms, as well as offices for the operators. The planned building will include two full storeys and an attic storey and will not be provided with a basement. It will be constructed using a timber-frame construction method with a massive building core and will be fitted with a pitched truss roof with extensive landscaping/green roofing, as well as a PV system. Access to the construction site will be via the public road Querkamp. Due to a large stand of trees to be preserved in the front area of the building plot, the area available for site setup is very limited. Part of the school car park to the north can be accessed by small lorries. In parallel to the road on the building plot, a temporary lay-by will be created, which can be used for loading and unloading with a crane.
