TENDER DESCRIPTION

WDR intends to dispose of the northern part of its site, which covers approximately 58 hectares, in Cologne-Bocklemünd. The site extends on both sides of Freimersdorfer Weg, is partly developed, and is currently used in part by WDR and by third parties. Against the background of declining in-house use, the location is intended to be abandoned in the medium term. The full clearance of the site is expected to take place in the period between 2028 and 2035. In principle, disposal can also occur before full clearance. The services to be awarded include the concept and management of the entire transaction process by an experienced consulting firm. The contractor will support WDR in preparing for, marketing, carrying out and monitoring the investor selection process, and in the commercial handling of the sale process up to the selection of a preferred investor. In parallel to this invitation to tender, advice will be commissioned for a separate expression of interest procedure.
