TENDER DESCRIPTION

WDR intends to sell the northern part of its site comprising around 58 hectares in Cologne-Bocklemünd. The site extends on both sides of Freimersdorfer Weg, is partly developed, and is currently used partly by WDR and by third parties. In view of decreasing in-house use, the location is intended to be phased out in the future. Full clearance of the site is expected for the period between 2028 and 2035. As a rule, a sale may also take place before full clearance. The service to be awarded comprises the concept and management of the entire transaction process by an experienced consulting firm. The contractor supports WDR in preparing, marketing, carrying out and accompanying the investor selection as well as in the commercial handling of the sale process up to the selection of a preferred investor. In parallel to this invitation to tender, consulting services for a separate expression of interest procedure will be commissioned. The expression of interest procedure will therefore be accompanied by a separate contractor.
