TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Free State of Thuringia, represented by the Thuringian State Office for Construction and Transport (TLBV), intends to deploy primarily CO2-neutral traction vehicles with alternative drive technologies on the Erfurt – Würzburg and Eisenach – Neuhaus a. Rwg. routes. For the deployment of battery-electric traction vehicles, extensions of existing overhead line systems as well as the construction of overhead line island systems are to be examined. The subject of this tender with regard to the railway infrastructure is the investigation of feasibility, determination of the timeframe for implementation, and determination of the total value scope of infrastructural measures in the individual study sections.
