Phase 1 – Prequalification Competition  The procedure is initiated with the publication of the EU-wide notice for the concession award and the provision of the contract documents. The granting authority, by the concession notice, invites all companies interested in the concession to submit an application to participate (call for participation);  If interested companies have questions about the documents relating to the prequalification competition, the subject of the concession, or the procedure, they may request information via the procurement platform up to 10 calendar days before the deadline for receipt of applications to participate;  Deadline for the receipt of electronically submitted applications to participate;  Examination and evaluation of the applications to participate according to the requirements set out in the notice (including suitability criteria) and determination of the applicants invited to submit a bid (completion of the prequalification competition) The "Application Conditions (Prequalification Competition)", which are part of the procurement documents published in the prequalification competition, apply to the prequalification competition.
