In various stages of processing, a feasibility study was prepared in 2023 and further developed in depth until 2025. In addition, condition analyses and structural/engineering assessments of the existing properties were carried out. On this basis, the board of directors of the WPZ Berghof decided to implement the in-depth feasibility study. The WPZ Berghof consists of building parts from different times of construction and in different conditions. Individual parts as well as central functions have a high need for renewal. For a future-oriented operation, four nursing stations with 25–27 beds each are to be implemented on each of one horizontal level. Spacious and functional new single rooms with their own en-suite wet rooms (bathrooms) are to be created.
