TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County requests a tender for meal delivery services to homes in the areas of the following municipalities of the Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County: Halsua, Kannus, Kokkola, Lestijärvi, Perho, Toholampi and Veteli. The contract is fixed-term and valid for two (2) years from the start of the contract. The Contracting Authority also has the right to two (2) separately decided one (1)-year option periods. The estimated start date of the contract is 1.2.2027. The subject of the procurement is home-delivered meals delivered cold to clients of the Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County. This is a support service pursuant to Section 19 of the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014). Clients of home care are in general elderly people whose physical capacity is often reduced and/or whose memory has declined, and who still manage independently in their familiar living environment, including by means of meal delivery services. The clients also include front-line war veterans and war invalids, as well as clients within the scope of informal care allowance.
