TENDER DESCRIPTION

The scope of the procurement of immigration training is up to 8,000 student workdays per year. The duration of the training is up to 240 student workdays/person. The number of persons/groups to be procured is an estimate based on the forecast number of students. The contracting authority reserves the right not to procure the maximum number of student workdays. The target group for immigration training are primarily persons who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment, persons who have moved to Finland within the scope of the Act on the Promotion of Immigrants’ Integration and who are in need of immigration training, or who have moved to Finland on a permanent basis, who are literate in reading and writing in at least their own mother tongue, but need to strengthen their language proficiency in Finnish in order to enter the labour market or education leading to a profession. In implementing the training, the applicable OPH guidelines for the curriculum for immigration training must be followed.
