TENDER DESCRIPTION

The scope of the procurement of immigration training is at most 8000 student workdays per year. The duration of the training is at most 240 student workdays/person. The number of persons/groups to be procured is an estimate based on the anticipated number of students. The contracting authority reserves the right not to procure the maximum number of student workdays. The target group for immigration training consists primarily of persons who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment, are within the scope of the Act on the Promotion of Immigrant Integration into Finnish Society (kotoutumislaki) and are in need of immigration training, and who have moved to Finland or moved to Finland on a permanent basis, who are at least literate and have reading and writing skills in their own mother tongue, but need strengthening of their language skills in the Finnish language in order to enter employment or training leading to a profession. In implementing the training, the current National Agency for Education (OPH) guidelines for the curriculum for immigration training must be complied with.
